In 2005, Nigel graduated with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore) and started working in Changi General Hospital to serve his bursary bond with them. Later in 2007 he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney which was provided in Singapore Institute of Management.
Following the time spent in Changi General Hospital in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, he developed his passion and interest in the rehabilitation of the upper limb and hand therapy.
He later developed his own treatment style and philosophy, managing patients’ physical pains and problems and taking into consideration the emotional and psychosocial aspect of each patient.
